Job summary

The role involves leading the delivery, support, and availability of global infrastructure across various platforms. The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will ensure the security, scalability, and operational efficiency of enterprise systems, driving cloud adoption and managing capacity and disaster recovery processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a 3rd/4th-line role within enterprise IT infrastructure, or 5+ years in a biomedical IT service environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant technical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global infrastructure delivery across compute, storage, and networking.
• Build and optimize enterprise technologies including VMware, Windows Server, Citrix, and Linux.
• Manage cloud operations on AWS and/or Azure, focusing on automation.
• Handle capacity management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with technical architects to translate designs into operational solutions.
• Implement information security controls and ensure compliance.
• Lead cross-functional projects and prepare documentation for audits.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and vendors.
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering standards and operational excellence.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead technical projects.

Education
