Job summary

The role involves driving impactful solutions within the life sciences sector by managing AI strategies and implementations. You will work closely with clients to address complex challenges across the life sciences value chain.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge in clinical operations, clinical data management, trial design, pharmacovigilance, or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong project and program management skills, capable of handling complex, multi-workstream projects.
  • Hands-on experience with AI or ML platforms relevant to clinical settings.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with both C-suite stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Understanding of GxP principles and regulatory considerations for AI in clinical contexts.
  • Proven leadership abilities to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience in a Life Sciences technology vendor or management consultancy focused on clinical AI.
  • Familiarity with clinical AI platforms and eClinical ecosystems.
  • Experience in AI validation processes in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial data standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to define AI strategies and implementation roadmaps.
  • Translate organizational goals into actionable AI use cases.
  • Advise client leadership on platform selection and AI governance.
  • Lead assessments to evaluate current capabilities and define AI-enabled operations.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of AI and technology implementation projects.
  • Review solution designs and validate AI outputs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including business analysts and data scientists.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools through change management and training.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the AI practice.
  • Support business development through proposals and client presentations.

Skills

  • Deep functional knowledge in clinical areas.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.

Tools

  • Familiarity with clinical AI platforms such as Veeva, Medidata, and Oracle Health Sciences.
