Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on advancing Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies for large-scale production, ensuring quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance AM workflows and integrate them into existing processes.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing.
• Proficient in Build Preparation Software, such as Materialise Magics.
• Strong skills in CAD and experience with GD&T, including the ability to read and create 2D drawings.
• Programming experience, preferably in Python.
• Familiarity with DFM methodologies for maturing parts.
• Knowledge of polymer AM technologies.
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop production build jobs for AM element maturing.
• Ensure quality of AM produced parts through rigorous testing and data analysis.
• Standardize AM workflows and integrate them with other processes.
• Build capabilities within DfAM and AM to expand the AM program.
• Define process variables in collaboration with process engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to secure and enhance part quality.
• Mature and scale the production platform with a focus on quality and volume.
• Explore and implement new software tools to improve AM processes.
