About the role

Job summary

This role focuses on driving new customer growth as part of the Field Sales Operations team. The Senior Account Executive will develop strategies for targeting and closing key opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction from the outset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C-level executives from a field sales position.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales quotas and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Experience managing longer deal cycles and prospecting for opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for prioritizing and closing key opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Perform account planning and coordinate with pre-sales and other resources for strategic alignment.
  • Initiate and support sales of solutions within large enterprise prospects, articulating the company’s value proposition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting them with solutions.
  • Negotiate deals with C-Suite executives to close opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data on customer/prospect pipelines and service forecasts.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs in the industry.
  • Ability to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • Relevant educational qualifications in a related field are preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales forecasting tools is advantageous.
