Security Specialist (On-site, Aarhus/Aalborg/Kbh)

Job summary

The role involves working within the Security Partnering team in Cyber & Information Security, focusing on the protection of business areas, customers, and critical infrastructure. The position is centered around personnel security, including security clearances, background checks, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in personnel security, security clearances, background checks, compliance, or related fields.
• Understanding of risk assessments and ability to identify cases requiring specialized evaluation.
• Interest in regulations, authority requirements, and security in critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Handle cases related to personnel security, security clearances, and associated processes.
• Own the Personnel Security Support service within the Cyber & Information Security service catalog.
• Advise leaders and People & Culture on security clearances, background checks, processes, and risk assessments.
• Provide guidance on security clearances in the telecommunications and energy sectors.
• Manage dialogue with authorities such as the Energy Agency and SAMSIK.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Conduct annual security briefings for leaders with security-cleared employees.
• Contribute to compliance and documentation in the area.

Skills

• Ability to build strong relationships and drive progress in a specialist role.

Education

• Relevant educational background in security, compliance, or a related field may be beneficial.

Tools

• Familiarity with security management tools and compliance documentation processes is advantageous.
