Scientific & Innovation Coordinator

Job summary

The role involves coordinating scientific and innovation activities for a new EU project and supporting upcoming spin-out initiatives. The focus is on program coordination, aligning partners, tracking progress, managing deliverables, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MSc, PhD, or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline or project management.
• Proven experience in coordinating multi-partner research projects; familiarity with spin-outs and tech transfer is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
• Experience in managing stakeholder engagement and project control processes.
• Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans for the EU project and spin-out activities.
• Define milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations; update timelines and communicate changes.
• Create deliverable templates and quality checkpoints; collect and review inputs.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and milestones to stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate technical and management meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Prepare meeting agendas, circulate materials, and document minutes and action items.
• Monitor equipment and coordinate purchase requests and facility bookings.

Skills

Education

• Relevant advanced degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
