SCADA Specialist

Job summary

This role involves acting as a key interface between regional SCADA teams and central functions, driving technical excellence in SCADA solutions for renewable energy projects. The position requires collaboration with international stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives to support the global energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation/Control Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in SCADA, with a preference for development and/or deployment roles.
• Experience in the wind or renewable energy industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard SCADA hardware platforms.
• Proven experience with communication protocols such as OPC UA or Modbus.
• Hands-on proficiency in Linux, VMware, Windows environments, and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and associated tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between regional SCADA teams and central functions (R&D, Service, Digital Solutions).
• Provide expert guidance on SCADA products, including capabilities and processes.
• Collect, analyze, and translate requirements from customers and stakeholders into structured deliverables.
• Represent the Product Line in development projects, ensuring regional engagement.
• Support regions in deploying SCADA solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive process improvements and adoption of tools, including new product releases.
• Lead global SCADA communities to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
