About the role

Job summary

This role involves taking comprehensive ownership of SCADA solutions for wind power projects, integrating technology with commercial strategy and project execution. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure the delivery of innovative and compliant solutions that support the transition to renewable energy.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field (e.g., Electrical, Control Systems, SCADA, Computer Science).
  • Experience as a SCADA Engineer with project management exposure or as a Project Manager with SCADA expertise in power/energy environments.
  • Understanding of power systems and electrical infrastructure, including high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment.
  • Experience in the wind energy sector or industrial power generation is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cyber security principles in industrial control or SCADA systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete SCADA solution for wind power projects, ensuring clear execution and successful delivery.
  • Serve as the SCADA technical lead throughout the project lifecycle, from sales support to service handover.
  • Provide technical expertise during sales and customer engagements, aligning solutions with customer needs.
  • Lead SCADA execution activities, ensuring timely delivery within scope and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders for the installation and commissioning of SCADA systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure compliant and optimized solutions.
  • Identify risks proactively and contribute to the development of SCADA best practices.

Education

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, power plant controllers, PLCs, and communication protocols.
