SAP Commerce Cloud Application Manager

Job summary

This role involves taking ownership of a global e-commerce platform powered by SAP Commerce Cloud, ensuring its stability, performance, and continuous evolution. The Application Manager will operate at the intersection of business, product, and technology, driving the platform to meet ambitious growth targets.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) or similar enterprise e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce/Magento, Oracle).
• Proven track record in application management, platform ownership, or technical product support in a global or enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of digital customer journeys and the technical architecture of modern B2B or B2C e-commerce platforms.
• Good understanding of integrations (APIs, backend systems, and cloud platforms).
• Exceptional communication skills to navigate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience with DevOps practices and structured release processes is a plus.

• Take full ownership of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform from an application management perspective.
• Ensure the stability, performance, and availability of the platform, driving continuous improvements.
• Act as a link between Product Owners, developers, and architecture to translate product vision into technical reality.
• Manage external development partners and implementation vendors for high-quality delivery.
• Oversee releases, deployments, and environment health for smooth delivery cycles.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and integration landscape, including SAP S/4HANA and APIs.
• Support incident management and lead root cause analysis for a high-performing ecosystem.
