The Sales Specialist will focus on driving growth in the Investment Banking sector, specifically targeting Deal-making and Advisory, Sell-Side Research, and Private Equity communities. This role involves consultative sales and requires a proactive approach to client engagement and competitive strategy.

Qualifications

  • Experience in selling financial data, analytics, or workflow solutions
  • Previous sales experience with data and analytics vendors is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of selling to investment banking and advisory clients

Responsibilities

  • Own and implement the sales plan for a defined territory, including acquiring new clients
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasts
  • Develop and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders at client organizations
  • Deliver engaging demonstrations of the company's Investment Banking solutions
  • Translate client needs into compelling value propositions
  • Create strategies to outperform competing platforms
  • Provide feedback to product and proposition teams based on market insights
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Investment Banking solutions
