About the role

Job summary

This role involves leading international sales efforts for advanced Airlaid production lines and solutions, representing the full technology portfolio to global customers. The Sales Manager will develop project-specific strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance throughout the sales process while fostering strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Paper Technology, or equivalent technical education; MBA is a plus.
  • Several years of international sales experience in machinery for the pulp or nonwovens industry, with strong knowledge of Airlaid technology.

Responsibilities

  • Drive international sales and achieve annual order intake targets.
  • Act as the primary sales interface between customers and the Center of Excellence.
  • Develop and implement project-specific sales strategies and manage the front-line sales organization.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and prepare technical and commercial proposal documents.
  • Promote the full-service product portfolio and represent the Product Group at industry events.
  • Collect market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.

Skills

  • Strong customer focus and ownership for performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Business English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and willingness to travel internationally (over 60%).

Education

  • Relevant degree in engineering or technical field; further education in business is advantageous.

Tools

  • Customer Relationship Management systems, contract management tools, and technical proposal preparation software.
