Job summary

The Sales Manager will oversee the chemical business in the Nordic region, focusing on sales to the food, feed, and pharmaceutical sectors in Denmark and Sweden. This role involves managing key accounts, expanding existing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing and sales within the chemical industry
  • Strong knowledge of sales management and expertise in negotiating long-term contracts
  • Team-oriented, responsible, and reliable personality
  • Ability to thrive in an international environment with English as the corporate language; knowledge of Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Manage key accounts and support growth of existing customer relationships through regular visits
  • Travel approximately 40–60% of working time within Denmark and Sweden
  • Drive development of new customer relationships and identify new product opportunities
  • Analyze customers and markets to develop effective sales strategies
  • Act as a liaison between product managers, supply chain, and the Nordic market
  • Participate in industry events and initiate activities to promote business
  • Contribute to strategy planning and execution for the Nordic operation

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Open mindset and pragmatic approach to business contacts

Education

  • Relevant experience in sales and marketing within the chemical sector

Tools

  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is advantageous
