Job summary

The Sales Manager will oversee the chemical business in the Nordics, focusing on sales to the food, feed, and pharmaceutical sectors. This role involves managing key accounts, expanding existing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities across Denmark and Sweden.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing and sales within the chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales management with expertise in negotiating long-term contracts.
  • Open-minded and pragmatic approach to business contacts.
  • Team-oriented, responsible, and reliable personality with confidence in leading meetings.
  • Ability to thrive in an international environment with English as the corporate language; knowledge of Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

What we offer

  • Travel 40–60% of the time within Denmark and Sweden.
  • Drive the development of new customer relationships and identify new product opportunities.
  • Implement new and existing strategies creatively and effectively.
  • Analyze customer and market data to develop sales strategies and initiatives in collaboration with the team.
  • Serve as a key link between product managers, supply chain, and the Nordic market.
  • Actively participate in and initiate industry events and meetings.
  • Contribute to strategy planning and execution for the Nordic operations.
  • Report directly to the Nordic head of sales and product manager.
