Sales Analyst (FMCG, Nordics)

Job summary

This role focuses on commercial analytics within the FMCG sector, emphasizing the understanding of sales data and customer relationships. The position involves reporting on sales performance and collaborating with various teams to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience as a sales or category analyst, preferably in FMCG.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required) and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data streams and deadlines.
• Structured and analytical mindset for translating data into actionable insights.
• Willingness to travel within Europe as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct territory analytics and insights, including sell-in and sell-out reporting by market, customer, brand, and SKU.
• Monitor retail sell-through, distribution, and stock availability to prevent lost sales.
• Manage the promotional calendar and evaluate post-promotion performance.
• Support monthly demand forecasting and regional P&L reviews.
• Prepare customer-ready materials for category stories and listing proposals.
• Own a defined set of smaller retail accounts and support larger customer negotiations.
• Participate in customer meetings and drive new listings and distribution gains.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Customer Service on order management and track trade spend.
