Job summary

This role involves facilitating a mission-driven research program within a university context, focusing on sustainability and biomanufacturing. The position is pivotal in supporting research projects without being a researcher, allowing for a significant personal impact on project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in bioprocess or chemical engineering or a related natural science discipline.
  • Hands-on knowledge of research processes and effective communication within a research environment.
  • Experience in collecting, assessing, and presenting university/research performance KPIs.
  • Experience in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Danish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist mission leadership teams with scientific coordination meetings, including preparation and follow-up.
  • Drive systematic follow-up on management decisions across all projects.
  • Gather and prepare materials for decision-making, such as status reports and data overviews.
  • Prepare advanced reports on scientific outputs from research groups.
  • Support collaboration with external industry partners through coordination and follow-up.
  • Ensure alignment and foster cooperation across multiple missions.
  • Assist in identifying funding opportunities and preparing applications for external fundraising.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work.
  • Ability to thrive in a facilitating and enabling role within a newly established organization.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, with patience for driving long-term results in a complex environment.

Education

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field.

Tools
