Job summary

This position involves clean-room fabrication and quantum transport measurements of electronic devices made from oxide heterostructures. The role is part of an international project focused on utilizing advanced materials for quantum devices.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physics, Nanoscience, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in semiconductor processing techniques, including e-beam lithography, metal evaporation, and etching.
  • Experience in device fabrication with both semiconductors and oxide materials.
  • Familiarity with low-temperature testing and analysis of quantum transport data is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in clean-room device fabrication and support quantum transport measurements at milli-kelvin temperatures.
  • Participate in projects focused on the growth of advanced oxide heterostructures.
  • Strengthen the connection between materials science and electronic device fabrication.

Skills

  • Expertise in semiconductor processing and device fabrication.
  • Experience with low-temperature electronic device testing.

Education

  • A formal qualification of a master's degree in engineering or equivalent is required.

Tools

  • Clean-room fabrication equipment, e-beam lithography systems, and low-temperature measurement setups.
