Job summary

The Reporting Associate is responsible for fulfilling internal and external reporting requests, supervised by the Reporting Officer or another professional staff member. The role involves establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including donors and UN agencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Essential certificates include International Law and Journalism.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operational developments and assist in preparing briefing notes and reports.
  • Consolidate data and facilitate the preparation of periodic reports, including Sitreps and Fact Sheets.
  • Liaise with partners to gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with the Information Management Unit for accurate data presentation.
  • Assist in developing funding submissions and donor reports.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and manage risks effectively.

Skills

  • Knowledge of UNHCR's programs is essential.
  • Strong communication skills for dealing with diverse stakeholders.

Education

  • Relevant education includes a High School Diploma or higher, with specific certificates in International Law and Journalism being essential.

Tools

  • Familiarity with reporting tools and data management systems is beneficial.
