Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Job summary

This role involves managing regulatory compliance activities for food ingredient portfolios within the EMEA region, ensuring adherence to evolving regulations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide guidance on ingredient approvals, labeling, and market access, while preparing and submitting regulatory dossiers to authorities such as EFSA and the European Commission.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in a multinational food ingredients company.
• Strong understanding of EU food legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions with regulatory authorities.
• Proficient communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory compliance for assigned product portfolios and support regional strategies.
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers and interact with regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with food legislation and maintain product authorizations.
