Job summary

This position involves managing key customer accounts in the Nordic maritime market, with a focus on Norway. The role requires building trust and delivering commercial growth through effective relationship management and operational support.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing commercial role, such as Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager.
  • Background in the maritime industry, catering, foodservice, or related services is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop 5–6 key accounts in the Nordic maritime sector.
  • Build strong relationships within the Norwegian maritime industry and the broader Nordic market.
  • Serve as the main commercial contact for assigned accounts, addressing operational issues and service feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding existing partnerships and support commercial discussions regarding budgets and service levels.

Skills

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in client follow-up, service delivery, or operational coordination.
  • Structured and proactive work approach.
  • Fluency in English; Norwegian language skills are highly desirable.

Education

  • Relevant experience in key account management or long-term partnerships.

Tools

  • Knowledge of Maritime English, Incoterms, or shipping fundamentals is advantageous.
