Job summary

The role involves managing key customer accounts in the Nordic maritime market, particularly in Norway, focusing on building relationships and driving commercial growth through effective service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing commercial role, such as Key Account Manager, Customer Relationship Manager, or Business Development Manager.
  • Background in the maritime industry, catering, foodservice, provisioning, or related service environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Experience in client follow-up, service delivery, or operational coordination.
  • Proactive and structured working style.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Norwegian is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop 5–6 key accounts in the Nordic maritime sector.
  • Build strong relationships within the Norwegian maritime industry and the broader Nordic market.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts.
  • Address operational issues, service feedback, and daily inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing partnerships.
  • Engage in commercial discussions regarding budgets, service levels, and added value.

Skills

  • Key account management or long-term partnership experience.
  • Strong understanding of the maritime, shipping, offshore, logistics, catering, or provisioning sectors.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders professionally.
  • Knowledge of Maritime English, Incoterms, or shipping fundamentals is a plus.

Education

  • Relevant educational background in business or related fields is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software may be beneficial.
