Real Estate Manager (Retail, Hybrid, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves managing lease portfolios and executing ongoing portfolio strategies within a global retail context. The position supports lease renewals and finalizes approved lease agreements, particularly for a specific portfolio.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managing lease portfolios, including renewals and critical date tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Letters of Intent (LOIs), lease terms, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to manage multiple real estate projects from approval to execution.
• Experience in big-box leisure real estate is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail in lease documentation and reporting.
• Self-starter with a goal-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution processes for approved leases post-Real Estate Committee approval.
• Coordinate Letters of Intent and landlord communications to finalize leases efficiently.
• Support ongoing portfolio decisions, including lease renewals and extensions.
• Collaborate with external landlords, brokers, and real estate partners to align lease terms with business objectives.
• Manage key lease documentation to ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements.
• Maintain an updated lease portfolio using company tools.
• Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor critical lease milestones to ensure timely decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support lease implementation and decision-making.
