Job summary

The role involves managing and improving hardware development processes within a global R&D organization in the regulated medical device sector. The R&D Process Manager will focus on enhancing efficiency and alignment with regulatory requirements while collaborating with various stakeholders across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in process development, management, or continuous improvement.
• Experience in a regulated environment, preferably in medical devices.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and process compliance.
• Background in R&D, engineering, product development, or project management processes.
• Proven experience in collaborating with Quality/Regulatory stakeholders.
• Experience in leading process improvement initiatives across diverse teams.
• University degree in Engineering, Business/Commerce, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the overall hardware development process and related documentation.
• Ensure processes comply with regulatory and quality standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements based on feedback.
• Explore the use of AI and Lean methods to optimize processes.
• Drive harmonization of processes across multiple sites.
• Manage the process improvement backlog and oversee implementation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for R&D Project and Program Managers.
