About the role

Job summary

The role involves leading quality assurance efforts in the Data Centre sector, ensuring compliance with project quality requirements and maintaining effective communication with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in quality control or commissioning.
  • Experience in Data Centre facility maintenance, operation, or construction for 5 years.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and online document management systems is required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Preferred formal qualification in QAQC from manufacturing or industry.
  • Consultant PM experience with large-scale mission-critical projects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with client representatives to meet project quality standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and consultants effectively.
  • Plan and allocate quality control resources for inspections.
  • Conduct audits and field inspections as requested by clients.
  • Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and checklists.
  • Generate weekly quality reports for clients and lead QAQC meetings.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is maintained in the client’s system.
  • Evaluate performance of quality control personnel as needed.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage quality programs and schedules effectively.

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word) and online document management applications.
