Quality Engineer (Industrial, Remote)

Job summary

An experienced Quality Engineer is sought to enhance the Quality and Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. This role is pivotal in fostering a strong QHSE culture through structured and practical decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in quality management within an industrial setting.
• Solid background as an internal auditor.
• Required knowledge of ISO 9001; familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is preferred.
• Technical experience in the metal industry or similar production environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the management system (RIQO) to ensure compliance with relevant certifications.
• Update process and procedure descriptions and follow up on non-conformity reports.
• Conduct root cause analysis and promote risk-based thinking across the organization.
• Perform and support risk assessments and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and support external certification audits and ISO renewals.
• Participate in supplier development and audits when necessary.
• Support training initiatives related to quality and QHSE to build a strong quality culture.
• Engage in sales, tender, and project start-up phases to incorporate quality requirements early.
• Execute basic EHS-related tasks and registrations.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in quality management or related fields.

Tools

• Proficient in quality management systems and tools, with a preference for experience in SAP.
