Quality Assistant (Food & Beverage, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves supporting ISO 22000 certification readiness within the Food & Beverage Applied R&D area, focusing on quality and food safety processes. The position is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring collaboration across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Food Technology or similar, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in quality, food safety, or process improvement in the food and beverage sector.
• Knowledge of food safety management systems, including GMP and HACCP.
• Strong ability to interpret internal requirements and food legislation.
• Solid documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support teams in understanding and applying food safety standards and ISO 22000 requirements.
• Identify, document, and close gaps in current workflows and food safety practices.
• Develop and update procedures and documentation.
• Translate quality and food safety requirements into practical workflows.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders involved in ISO 22000 readiness.

Skills

• Experience with ISO 22000 or similar food safety management systems is advantageous.
• Prior exposure to R&D, pilot plant, laboratory, manufacturing, or quality assurance environments is valued.
• Experience working in cross-functional settings.

Education

• Master’s degree in Food Technology or similar, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
