QA Engineer

Job summary

This role is for a newly graduated QA Engineer who will contribute to testing high-quality software in a dynamic international environment. The position is based at the SitaWare Headquarters and involves participating in the entire feature development process to ensure quality assurance and control.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related field.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience with software testing on open-source platforms such as Linux, CLI, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus but not mandatory.
• Background in the Defence domain is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage actively in the development process by collaborating with stakeholders including developers, product owners, designers, and project managers.
• Create and execute tests, ensuring new features are designed to be testable.
• Develop test documentation and verify training content and software installations.
• Follow quality assurance and control processes to ensure the production of high-quality software.
• Participate in various testing activities such as System Testing, Bug Hunts, and strategy estimation.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to ask critical questions and understand project requirements.

Education

• Relevant bachelor's or master’s degree in a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies is beneficial.
