Proposal Manager

Job summary

This role involves managing customer proposals and supporting the Key Account Management (KAM) process at a manufacturing facility. The position requires effective communication with sales teams and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate proposal delivery.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial or technical training, preferably in mechanical engineering, with relevant experience.
• Experience in workflow management and collaboration with sales and operations teams.
• Knowledge of production and planning processes.
• Familiarity with Metal Expansion Joint products and ability to interpret technical drawings is advantageous.
• Initial experience in sales and understanding of sales structures is beneficial.
• Proficient in IT software including SAP, CRM/C4C, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Fluent in the local language with advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer inquiries for the Ringkoebing DK plant and ensure completeness of requests.
• Define quote types and initiate the proposal workflow within the organization.
• Serve as the main contact for sales teams regarding quote status and timelines.
• Monitor workflow progress across departments to meet proposal deadlines and content requirements, escalating issues as necessary.
• Compile and finalize proposals based on input from various internal teams.
• Participate as a project manager during the prototype phase in KAM and EPS business, overseeing planning, execution, and documentation.

Skills

• Strong project management skills to handle KAM customers effectively.

Education

• Relevant commercial or technical training.
