Job summary

This role involves owning and managing a data platform, ensuring it meets the strategic needs of the organization while delivering high-quality data services. The position requires a focus on data pipelines, integration, governance, and quality assurance to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in software engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for the Azure Databricks platform, overseeing architecture, cost optimization, and platform standards.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data pipelines, ensuring reliability, observability, and efficiency.
• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture and integration patterns, ensuring a single source of truth.
• Implement and evolve data governance practices using Microsoft Purview, ensuring data quality and compliance.
• Oversee project management of the data platform backlog, prioritizing features and operational stability.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into data models and communicate risks and incidents.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of platform components and standardize operational procedures.

Skills

• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
• Proficiency in Azure Databricks and related data management tools.
• Experience with Agile Project Management and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
