About the role

Job summary

This role involves managing and coordinating activities for the National Danish survey of diet and physical activity (DANSDA) at a leading research institution. The Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient progress and high-quality outputs that have societal impact.

Qualifications

  • Documented experience in project management and coordination (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar qualifications preferred)
  • Experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliverables
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Proficient in reporting, follow-up, and project documentation
  • Ability to create structure and maintain oversight of complex tasks
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; Danish preferred
  • Relevant Master’s degree in public health, nutrition, epidemiology, data science, social science, project management, or related field
  • Experience with national surveys or large-scale data collection activities

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily project activities across DANSDA-related workstreams and stakeholders
  • Track deliverables, milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Support planning and follow-up for survey implementation and data processing
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and communication among collaborators
  • Monitor project status and evaluate outcomes, including documentation
  • Assist in capacity-building and onboarding for study recruitment and data collection
  • Assess operational delays and communicate implications to the Steering Committee

  • Structured and proactive approach to project management
  • Ability to translate complex needs into actionable plans
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Education

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as public health or project management

Tools

  • Familiarity with data management and project documentation tools
