Project Manager (Procurement, Aarhus)

Job summary

An experienced Project Manager is sought to oversee Procurement activities in New Product Introduction projects, collaborating closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and key stakeholders globally. This role offers the opportunity to influence innovative product development while enhancing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally within production companies with a global supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline, supply chain, or engineering.
• Project management certification such as Prince2, IPMA C, PMP, or similar is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage New Product Introduction projects within Procurement, working closely with R&D and Manufacturing.
• Implement Procurement strategies and tactical plans effectively during project execution.
• Take ownership of all Procurement deliverables in projects, adhering to governance models and engaging with stakeholders.
• Ensure project scope and targets are met while balancing safety, quality, time, cost, resources, risks, and benefits.
• Maintain supply chain readiness throughout development projects until global production ramp-up.
• Manage Procurement budgets for all assigned projects.

Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to take accountability for team performance and decisions, addressing risks and issues proactively.
• Competence in transparent communication across various levels of the organization.

Education

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is preferred.
