About the role

Job summary

The role involves serving as the primary engineering contact for clients and stakeholders in offshore wind projects, focusing on technical delivery and project coordination.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in offshore construction, naval architecture, marine engineering, or geotechnical engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering fields such as naval architecture, civil/mechanical engineering, or offshore construction.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Source and follow up on externally sourced scopes of work.
  • Specify and execute engineering scopes of work.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders during project preparation and execution.
  • Support the sales department with engineering solutions for clients.
  • Ensure the integrity of vessels/assets/cargos and uphold sustainability standards.
  • Review and deliver documentation from relevant parties.
  • Attend port or offshore operations to support vessel organization during work execution.
  • Monitor project engineering quality, costs, budget, and deliverable schedules.

Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Organized and structured work planning.
  • Technical proficiency and pride in technical delivery.
  • Awareness of commercial matters.

Education

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant engineering fields.

Tools

  • Familiarity with engineering software and project management tools relevant to offshore wind projects.
