Project Director (Construction, Denmark)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing a high-profile Mission Critical Data Center construction project, requiring extensive experience in managing large-scale construction initiatives and multi-disciplinary teams. The position is client-facing and demands strong leadership throughout all construction phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering large-scale Mission Critical and/or Data Center projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications in Project Management are preferred; an electrical or mechanical engineering background is advantageous.
• Proven experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) leadership.
• Strong understanding of health and safety statutory requirements and contractual models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong influencing and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall construction project and ensure compliance with established systems and procedures.
• Oversee project personnel, including recruitment, onboarding, and on-site coordination.
• Lead construction activities on-site as necessary.
• Provide leadership in Construction Health & Safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, constructability, contracts/commercial aspects, and project controls.
• Manage the General Contractor and vendors effectively.
• Take ownership of quality, time, and cost management.
• Collaborate with construction services to enhance service delivery.
