Project Controls Manager (Data Centres)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing all project controls for a major Data Center project, establishing necessary processes and tools, and monitoring performance against established baselines for cost and schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project controls across all project lifecycle phases, with significant experience in Data Centers.
• Proven ability to analyze data and recommend corrective actions based on findings.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Primavera P6.
• Strong commitment to service excellence and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written English skills; local language skills are a plus.
• Flexibility for mobility is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and root causes of deviations from the baseline and recommend actions to enhance client value.
• Lead evaluations of project time, cost, and quality targets, applying necessary governance controls.
• Collaborate with cost managers to establish a market-tested cost baseline.
• Guide the general contractor to ensure alignment with schedule and cash flow parameters.
• Serve as the primary contact for the client, addressing delivery and commercial issues while preparing reports on project targets.
• Control costs using knowledge of estimating and procurement principles.
• Create and manage cost reports and executive dashboards.
• Lead change management processes and coordinate planning sessions with clients and vendors.
• Ensure timely updates of the master schedule and hold vendors accountable for schedule reporting.
