Job summary

The role of Production Leader involves overseeing a team of 24–30 Manufacturing Associates in a production environment, ensuring efficient operations across rotating day and night shifts. This position requires a flexible leader who is hands-on and practices visible leadership on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading diverse teams within a production setting.
• Familiarity with conversation techniques, conflict resolution, and feedback mechanisms.
• Background in drug substance manufacturing or similar processes is preferred.
• Ability to establish direction while fostering trust and relationships with team members.
• High proficiency in English is essential.
• Willingness to work a fixed shift schedule, including every second weekend.
• Experience in driving and enhancing visual management systems.

Responsibilities

• Foster a high-performing team by focusing on individual training and development.
• Ensure clear communication and collaboration within the team and with peers.
• Identify technical and compliance gaps, implementing necessary plans and objectives.
• Manage recruitment and scheduling of manufacturing activities, communicating changes effectively.
• Promote systematic problem-solving and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Oversee timely processing of deviations within the value stream, ensuring robust containment and countermeasures.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at various levels.
• Capacity to independently resolve issues without close supervision.

Education

• Relevant experience in a production environment is required.
