Product Manager (Agriculture, Southern Sweden)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the technical product management of a cross-crop portfolio in the Nordic markets, focusing on variety testing, portfolio development, and trial coordination. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment and support for business activities.

Qualifications

• University degree in agronomy, agricultural sciences, or related fields
• Experience in organizing or evaluating varietal comparative trials and interpreting data
• Knowledge of farming and crop production, with a preference for Sugarbeet expertise
• Familiarity with plant protection, fertilization principles, and modern farming technologies
• Experience in R&D environments is advantageous
• Driver's license and willingness to travel frequently
• Fluency in Swedish and English; Finnish or Norwegian is a plus
• Strong analytical and data reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the cross-crop portfolio through variety testing and lifecycle monitoring
• Plan and coordinate field trials and technical evaluations with breeders and product teams
• Support variety registration and maintain product documentation
• Analyze trial results and provide recommendations for portfolio positioning
• Collaborate with breeding teams to align market needs with product development
• Provide technical support and insights to internal stakeholders
• Develop local stewardship management concepts for key traits
• Prepare informational materials and participate in field events
• Monitor varieties and trial performance in the market
• Collaborate with supply chain and sales for demand forecasting
