Job summary

The role focuses on enhancing and optimizing existing furniture products for a circular business model, emphasizing durability and performance across multiple lifecycles. The Product Developer will collaborate with various teams to drive product improvements and ensure alignment with circular design principles.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Furniture Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field with a technical emphasis.
  • 5-7 years of experience in furniture product development.
  • Strong technical knowledge of furniture construction, materials, production methods, and cost factors.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product improvement agenda using performance data, operational insights, and market feedback.
  • Conduct structured range reviews and translate commercial and customer needs into prioritized product improvement briefs.
  • Manage product improvement projects from problem identification to implementation, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to circular design principles, ensuring products are designed for durability, repairability, and repeated use.

  • Ability to define specifications and lead development projects independently.
  • Strong analytical and pragmatic approach with effective execution capabilities.
  • Proficient in translating product feedback and operational input into prioritized improvements.
  • This position follows a hybrid office-first setup, requiring more on-site presence than remote work.
  • Existing permission to work in Denmark is required, as relocation support or visa sponsorship is not available.
