Product Data Analyst (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves partnering with a product team to enhance data analysis and improve product design. You will be the dedicated data analyst for a technical team, focusing on activation and adoption metrics to inform product decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product analytics within B2B SaaS, preferably in a product-led growth (PLG) environment.
• Strong partnership skills to collaborate effectively with technical product managers.
• Expertise in analyzing onboarding funnels, feature adoption, and user behavior.
• Ability to conduct deep behavioral segmentation and retention analysis.
• Proficient in applied statistics and capable of identifying biases in metrics.
• High agency and proactive in identifying valuable analyses.
• Solid skills in designing and interpreting A/B tests.
• Experience in defining event taxonomies and collaborating with engineering on tracking specifications.
• Expert in SQL and familiar with modern data stacks such as BigQuery and Metabase.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to deepen their analyses and provide broader insights.
• Conduct cross-product analyses and challenge existing assumptions.
• Co-create and test hypotheses related to user activation and retention.
• Influence product roadmap decisions with data-backed recommendations.
• Ensure the rigor of experiments and analyses, maintaining high standards of data quality.

Skills

Education

• Relevant degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.

Tools
