Product Analyst (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves working as a Product Analyst within a Pricing Data team on a fixed-length contract for four months. The primary focus is to translate product strategy into actionable tasks, ensuring that engineering teams have clear and well-defined work to execute.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a product analyst, associate PM, business analyst, or delivery-focused role, preferably in a data or SaaS environment.
• Strong written communication skills to clarify complex requirements.
• Ability to work closely with engineers and bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Good judgment in prioritization and trade-offs.
• Familiarity with ticketing/backlog tools such as Jira and product delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Scope product requirements in detail, defining acceptance criteria and identifying edge cases.
• Create clear, self-contained tickets for developers.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify tickets and refine scope as needed.
• Assist in prioritizing the backlog based on effort, dependencies, and impact.
• Maintain a well-groomed backlog and ensure delivery status is visible to stakeholders.
• Gather input from internal teams and clients to inform requirements.
• Support sprint ceremonies and track delivery against expectations.

Skills

• Experience with payments, fintech, financial data, or cross-border payments is a plus.
• Familiarity with data investigation and data pipelines.
• Understanding of JSON/REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience working with client-facing or commercial teams.
