Job summary

The role of Procurement Manager in Offshore Wind involves leading procurement initiatives to support the transition to a sustainable energy portfolio. This position is responsible for managing the full procurement process, from strategy development to contract award, while engaging with suppliers and stakeholders to maximize value.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role.
  • Experience in maritime or offshore logistics is advantageous.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills.
  • High sense of responsibility and initiative.
  • Proven negotiation skills to influence terms and secure best value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage compliant procurement processes for project categories.
  • Act as the single point of contact for suppliers during procurement.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to specific initiatives.
  • Create procurement materials, including contracts and governance documents.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with business protocols.
  • Guide core tender teams throughout the procurement process.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in procurement or related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with procurement governance and contract management tools.
