About the role

Job summary

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of cleanroom and lab environments, managing the complete lot lifecycle from wafer-in to data-out. Your role will involve coordinating across fabrication, packaging, and measurement teams to ensure clarity and seamless transitions throughout the production process. You will focus on driving execution and throughput while balancing fab capacity between development and production to align with the strategic roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire lot lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination across fabrication, packaging, and measurement stages.
  • Own the master production schedule, focusing on throughput and quality while resolving blockers and keeping stakeholders updated.
  • Align fab capacity allocation across competing priorities, planning maintenance to minimize production impact.
  • Maintain production-level KPIs and dashboards, ensuring data is actionable and focused on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to facilitate tech transfers and ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing, production operations, or related technical environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional programs and manage stakeholder communication effectively.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar environments, particularly in R&D or pilot-line settings.
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in production data analysis and decision-making.

Skills

  • Proficient in production scheduling, capacity planning, and managing work-in-progress in a cleanroom setting.
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP, and fab scheduling tools.
  • Technical understanding of quantum computing, photonics, or semiconductor physics is advantageous.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline is required.

Tools

  • Experience with statistical analysis processes and software is preferred.
