Principal Solution Consultant - Derivatives & Collateral

Job summary

The role involves leading the design and delivery of complex solutions in derivatives and collateral management within a financial technology environment. The consultant will act as a subject-matter expert, providing strategic insights and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in derivatives and collateral within asset management or financial technology.
• Deep functional expertise in both OTC and listed derivatives operations.
• Proven ability to lead complex solution designs from inception to delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with industry-standard platforms such as TriOptima, MarkitWire, Acadia, FXAll, or Cassini.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile or PMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design and delivery for derivatives and collateral solutions.
• Analyze and translate complex requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Contribute to solution strategy discussions and influence decisions.
• Resolve high-complexity issues involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of solution designs with operational standards and maintainability.
• Identify gaps in standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor Senior and Lead Solution Consultants to enhance team capabilities.
