Principal Solution Consultant - Derivatives (Fintech, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading the design and delivery of complex derivatives and collateral solutions within the financial technology sector. The consultant will act as a subject-matter expert, providing strategic insights and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in derivatives and collateral management within asset management or financial technology.
• Proven ability to lead complex solution designs from inception to delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design and delivery for OTC and listed derivatives.
• Analyze functional and operational requirements to create scalable solution designs.
• Participate in solution strategy discussions, providing insights to influence decisions.
• Resolve high-complexity issues involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of solution designs with operational standards and frameworks.
• Mentor Senior and Lead Solution Consultants to enhance team capabilities.
• Promote new working methodologies as part of ongoing business transformation.

Skills

• Deep functional expertise in derivatives operations and collateral management.
• Familiarity with industry-standard platforms such as TriOptima, MarkitWire, and Acadia.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and PMP.
• Transformation-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in finance, technology, or a related field.

Tools

• Experience with project management tools and financial technology platforms relevant to derivatives and collateral management.
