Job summary

The Principal Value Advisory Consultant plays a vital role in driving the growth of SaaS offerings within the financial technology sector. This position involves collaborating with Sales, Account Management, and product teams to guide clients through the adoption of cloud-hosted investment management platforms. The consultant will engage with prospects to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions throughout the presales lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment management technology, particularly in presales, solution advisory, or senior implementation roles.
  • Strong understanding of buy-side operating models across asset managers and asset owners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured discovery sessions to assess client operating models and technology needs.
  • Translate client requirements into SaaS solution scopes, identifying pain points and aligning them with product differentiators.
  • Lead RFP responses, focusing on deployment models, service levels, and security considerations.
  • Plan and deliver workshops and presentations to educate prospects on SaaS offerings and operational models.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the SaaS product suite and its competitive positioning in the market.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify client needs and develop appropriate solutions.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, RFP processes, and investment management technologies.
