Presales Solution Architect

Job summary

The Global Presales Solution Architect plays a vital role in assisting local Sales and Presales teams with Managed Security Services (MSS) sales, ensuring that customer proposals align with requirements and market best practices while optimizing costs and meeting service level agreements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the security industry.
• Deep understanding of Managed Security Services and ability to articulate their value.
• Customer-facing experience with strong presentation and communication skills in English, Danish, and Swedish; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in opportunity qualification, scope of work writing, and responding to tenders.
• Knowledge of key Managed Detection and Response (MDR) vendors.
• Security industry recognized certification is a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISA/CISM).

Responsibilities

• Support local Sales/Presales on complex MSS opportunities from qualification to closure and handover to Operations.
• Lead or contribute to the design, costing, and pricing of customer solutions, ensuring competitive offerings.
• Document proposed solutions in response to customer tenders.
• Create customer-centric solutions using the existing portfolio and validate necessary deviations.
• Provide feedback on market demand to product managers and operational teams.
• Organize sales and presales upskilling initiatives.
• Facilitate proof-of-concept services and solutions delivery.
• Track presales activity in workflow tools and report on it.

Skills

• Confidence, tenacity, creativity, and flexibility in thinking.

Education

• Security industry recognized certification is a plus (CISSP, CISA/CISM, OSCP/OSCE, CEH, CREST, etc.).

Tools

• Familiarity with workflow tools for tracking presales activity.
