Presales Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

As a Presales Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor for sales teams and partners, focusing on HPE infrastructure solutions. Your role will involve supporting partners throughout the sales process, designing solutions, and enhancing their technical capabilities through training and enablement.

Qualifications

• Experience with HPE Server & Storage or Networking (Aruba / Juniper).
• Background in Presales, Systems Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
• Strong technical knowledge paired with commercial awareness.
• Proven experience in supporting partners or customers during the sales cycle.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Consultative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the IT channel ecosystem is a plus.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support and technical advisory throughout the sales cycle.
• Design and present HPE infrastructure solutions to partners.
• Offer technical guidance, quotations, and solution proposals.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with partners and customers.
• Conduct technical workshops, demonstrations, and presentations.
• Engage in customer meetings and support strategic opportunities.
• Drive partner engagement through regular technical interactions.
• Train and coach partner sales and technical teams.
• Assist with certifications and competency development for partners.
• Identify new technical opportunities and support Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

Skills

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
