Responsibilities

  • Lead your own research project while contributing to the group's scientific output.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
  • Co-supervise PhD and MSc students, fostering a positive research environment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Assist in research proposals and disseminate results to various audiences.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with experimental techniques such as cleanroom-based nanofabrication or optical spectroscopy.
  • Theoretical knowledge in quantum optics or photonic integrated circuits.
  • Programming skills in Python or Julia for scientific computing.
  • Proficiency in scientific programming and numerical modeling tools like MATLAB or COMSOL.

Education

  • A PhD in a relevant field is required.
