Platform Security Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves protecting large-scale digital products for a global audience by enhancing platform security and safeguarding customer data. The position requires collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to lead security initiatives and improve incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focused on product security.
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls such as Wallarm, Akamai, or Cloudflare.
• Strong understanding of API security principles and OWASP API Security Top 10.
• Experience with anti-bot solutions and DDoS protection strategies.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management programs and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of modern authentication frameworks like OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Proficiency in SQL and Elasticsearch for security investigations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
