Plant Integration Engineer (Electrical, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the integration of electrical engineering activities for a next-generation energy project, working fully remotely. The Plant Integration Engineer (Electrical) will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful design and delivery of critical plant systems while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical systems.
• Experience with nuclear electrical systems design is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Class 1E standards and nuclear power plant quality assurance requirements is desirable.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and design collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical oversight of electrical system designs from functional requirements to final design.
• Coordinate design handoffs ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain electrical engineering deliverables, including specifications and diagrams.
• Evaluate electrical systems against industry standards and regulatory expectations.
• Lead collaboration efforts across distributed teams and contractors.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in engineering design software tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines and projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education; advanced degrees are considered an advantage.

Tools

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Professional.
