Planning Manager (Transportation, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing project schedules and ensuring timely delivery within the transportation sector. The Planning Manager will collaborate with various teams to manage resources and monitor project progress effectively.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Technical degree (or equivalent)
• Senior planning management experience in an industrial context
• Familiarity with Primavera P6
• Experience in the railway industry is advantageous
• Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions
• Ability to navigate a multicultural work environment and manage multiple tasks
• Some experience in delegating and managing tasks within a project planning team

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate project schedules
• Manage planning deliverables efficiently
• Apply resource management techniques across complex projects
• Facilitate alignment of internal stakeholders with project management strategies
• Implement the established project scheduling process
• Contribute to return of experience (REX) and improvement initiatives
• Share best practices and innovative ideas
