People & Project Manager (Defence Software, Aarhus)

Job summary

Lead high-impact teams and projects focused on AI-powered defence software. This role involves building and inspiring high-performance teams to deliver world-class intelligence software, driving project delivery, developing talent, and translating advanced AI capabilities into real-world applications for military forces.

Qualifications

• Relevant master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a similar IT-related field.
• Proven experience in delivering complex agile software projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams of developers, data scientists, and AI specialists.
• Structured, delivery-oriented approach with a strong drive for results.
• Background in AI, machine learning, or data science is advantageous.
• Project management qualifications (e.g., PMI/PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA C/D).

Responsibilities

• Lead two product development teams, overseeing delivery and people leadership.
• Manage complex software deliveries, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, budget, risk, and KPIs.
• Drive the development of an Agentic AI product stream for the platform.
• Coach and develop team members while recruiting and onboarding new colleagues.
• Facilitate planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement across teams.
