Payroll Implementation Lead (Remote, Italy)

Job summary

This role involves leading payroll implementations for clients in Italy, focusing on creating efficient setups and ensuring successful go-lives. The position requires a deep understanding of local payroll regulations and the ability to manage complex projects across various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience in Italy, preferably in consultancy or payroll bureau settings.
• Proven experience with Zucchetti Paghe Infinity for payroll configuration and data migration.
• Strong grasp of payroll foundations and legislative knowledge relevant to Italy.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll implementations, including discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on customer payroll setups, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a remote work environment.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients during the implementation process, ensuring clear communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes, tools, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines, focusing on KPIs and SLAs.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex payroll topics.
• Experience with high-volume CCNLs and familiarity with local payroll tools like SAP and Excel.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in payroll management or related fields.
