Payroll Implementation Lead (Remote, Italy)

Job summary

This role involves leading payroll implementations for clients in Italy, focusing on creating efficient setups and ensuring successful go-lives. The position requires a deep understanding of local payroll regulations and the ability to manage complex projects in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience in Italy, preferably in consultancy or payroll bureau settings.
• Proven hands-on experience with Zucchetti Paghe Infinity, including configuration and data migration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll foundations and CCNLs relevant to Italy.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in tech or high-growth environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll implementations, including discovery, configuration, and testing.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on customer payroll setups and constraints.
• Manage data migration and validation processes.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes and documentation.
• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide ongoing support post-implementation to address any issues.

Skills

• Strong communication skills for explaining complex payroll topics.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Familiarity with payroll tools and software, including SAP and Excel.

Education

• Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with payroll software and tools, particularly Zucchetti Paghe Infinity, SAP, and Excel/Google Sheets.
